Oreo Delight

  1. Crush the Oreos, saving about 1 cup to sprinkle on top later.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the remaining crushed Oreos with melted butter.
  3. Press the crumb and butter mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 cake pan to form the crust.
  4. Prepare the chocolate pudding according to the package directions and let it set up in the fridge.
  5. Using an electric mixer, blend half of the cool whip, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar in a large bowl.
  6. Spread the cool whip/cream cheese/sugar mixture on top of the Oreo crust.
  7. Layer the chocolate pudding over the cool whip mixture, followed by the remaining cool whip mixture on top.
  8. Sprinkle the saved 1 cup of crushed Oreos over the final layer.
  9. Refrigerate the dessert until ready to serve.

Tips:

  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps in the cool whip mixture.
  • For a twist, try using different flavored Oreos or pudding mix to customize the dessert.
  • Allow the chocolate pudding to set properly in the fridge for a firmer texture.
  • Experiment with variations like adding chopped nuts or drizzling chocolate sauce on top for extra decadence.
